After the latest Windows 11 update, neither my wireless mouse or keyboard wil connect with my HP all in one

Just had a major win 11 update to ver25, I think and now my mouse and keyboard wont Bluetooth back onto pc.

My wireless mice are always affected after updates and now I have had to stop them! I have spent hours and hours connecting to their services, this is crazy! In my case the mice go bonkers and do all kinds of things that affect my work badly. I now had, with their help, to stop updates completely. Also, they always want to assess the device, which is a crazy thing to ask this day and age! Microsoft simply do not care. I have had a laptop since maybe 2000, always Windows, for many years no problems at all, then updates started and more and more and it became a nightmare that is a job in itself, just the day only has 24 hours and I am exhausted!

After the last Windows 11 update three days ago I had a similar issue. Both my Bluetooth mouse and my wireless mouse started acting wonky, I couldn't open files or folders with single or double click (they'd open if I kept clicking 4 or 5 times), and sometimes clicking on a link would not open it. I tried all he usual changed batteries, made sure mouse drivers were updated, etc. Nothing worked. I ended up uninstalling the last Windows update, and that fixed the problem. Then I went into services.msc and disabled Windows updates. I would have preferred to set them to manual, BUT I found out that "manual" isn't really manual, it will update automatically anyway. So I had to disable it.

My two wireless mice have huge problems after each of the latest Windows updates, which is absolutely crazy and has created huge stress and made me waste days on end. A while ago Windows 11 had to be re-installed, which took all day, with a bot or something wasting me through the process, as I can't have anyone access my system. It was awful! The more updates there were, the worst it got. With their help I have now had to stop them completely, but that might create other problems. I am now uninstalling the latest update and have uninstalled so many, but usually Windows installs them again and anyway, they tell you your system could be at risk, but it is my right to use a wireless mouse, right? And never any compensation, that is why they don't care and if anyone tells me again to do the usual stuff, try another port, re-start the computer, I am going to scream, as if that helps!!!!! I hope your problems are solved and anyway, doing updates manually will damage your system in the same way.

Hi ,

Are the keyboard and mouse wireless and USB?

If possible, try plugging in other USB ports and restarting the computer after it turns on to see if it works.
