I am trying to download a mod pack on curse forge but the only way for me to play it is if i sign in with my microsoft account on the curseforge version of the minecraft launcher. Instead of it being green, its pale and i dont know if its safe to sign into.

Hello, I am no expert or anything, but I definitely know this is safe to sign into, that is just a different version of the launcher. I am just like you, downloading mods on Curseforge and everything. And that launcher does not contain any viruses.
