Windows 11 Home reached end of service, how do I fix it

Windows 11 Home is saying it has reached the end of service and will no longer update. I clicked on the link for more info, and it says my computer already has Windows 11. I read about Home being serviced for 24 months and that it should update automatically to a newer version. However, I don't think this has happened since it is telling me the version I have has ended.

Why didn't it update on its own, and how do I fix it since I can't find any way on the website to do so?

Hi Regina, first, Windows 11 Home versions have a fixed support lifecycle, and when your version reaches end of service, it means it hasn’t received a feature update within the required timeframe. Second, this usually happens if automatic updates were paused or failed silently. To fix it, go to Settings > Windows Update and click Check for updates. If no update appears, use the Windows 11 Installation Assistant from Microsoft’s website to upgrade to the latest version. Third, you can also create a bootable USB with the Media Creation Tool and perform an in-place upgrade without losing files. Last, make sure your device meets Windows 11 requirements and has enough disk space, as these can block updates. Once updated, your PC will resume receiving security patches.
