Please read my comment at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5507952/start-listening-not-working-in-copilot?page=1&orderby=Helpful&comment=answer-12154410&translated=false#newest-answer-comment or let me repost it here as well:

Unfortunately, once in a while, https://copilot.microsoft.com/labs/audio-expression simply STOPS working, and neither cleaning cache/cookies nor rebooting helps. It fails to generate any audio with any TTS model, and it says plainly: "It's not you, it's me." If you have any other working solution, please let us know, or better yet, add a "Report Crash" button to send detailed replies to any interested MS Tech parties, because it seems that nobody cares to fix this problem for a long time. I understand that the TTS Bot is still in "experimental stages," but if you want us to help you fix it and train it, we'd better work together instead of wondering what's going on, to no avail ;-) AIglitch

Copilot TTS (Text-to-Speech) may stop working for several reasons, including potential internal server errors or issues with the service itself. If it fails to generate audio with any TTS model and common troubleshooting steps like clearing cache or rebooting do not resolve the issue, it could indicate a temporary problem with the service. Since TTS is still in experimental stages, users may experience inconsistencies in performance.

For persistent issues, it may be beneficial to report the problem to Microsoft support or through any available feedback mechanisms, as this could help in addressing the underlying issues more effectively.
