Hi Everyone

Issue:

Each time a plug in a mouse, it refusing to work. I am forced to go to device manager and update driver to HID-Compliant

Same issue happens when i restart my pc, i am forced to go to device management again and update driver to HID-Compliant

This happens to all mice i plug in. Wireless/Wired and different brands.

This happens on all ports and not just specific ports

Keyboards and wireless keyboards all work fine, issue only happens to mice

Issue has been happening for months now

Troubleshooting done:

Tried resetting pc with below steps:

Settings - System - Recovery - Reset PC - Remove Everything

I tried looking for driver it defaults to, to delete it but i cannot find it.

I tried using DriverStore Explorer but still cannot locate the driver

When checking Device Manager and going to "Mice and other pointing devices"

It shows the mouse is using "pluralinput mouse" instead of HID-Compliant
