To stop a pause on updates in Windows, you can follow these steps:

    1. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
    2. Click on Advanced options.
    3. Under the Pause updates section, you should see an option to resume updates. Click on it to stop the pause and resume receiving updates.

Please note that if the pause period has expired (which is typically up to 35 days), updates will automatically resume without any action needed from your side.

If you don't have Resume updates button or nothing happens when you click it, try these steps:

    -Create a System Restore point.

    -Open Registry Editor.

    -Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsUpdate\UpdatePolicy\Settings.

-Empty the Value data for PausedFeatureDate and PausedQualityDate registry strings.

-Go to this registry location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsUpdate\UX\Settings

    -Delete these strings only:

    • PauseFeatureUpdatesEndTime
    • PauseFeatureUpdatesStartTime
    • PauseQualityUpdatesEndTime
    • PauseQualityUpdatesStartTime
    • PauseUpdatesExpiryTime

-Close Registry Editor and restart your system.

    Hi, good day!

Is the "Resume updates" button not there or is it grayed out?
