Hello

A few days ago, my Bluetooth stopped working on my ROG Asus Ally X. When my headphones make the connected sound, and I see that I am connected, but the sound is still coming from my Asus. I have tried everything to get it working (Uninstalling devices, restarting, and many other things). I am reaching the point of saving everything and performing a factory reset. I'm not sure if you can help, but if you can, I would appreciate hearing your suggestions.

To troubleshoot Bluetooth issues on your ROG Asus Ally X, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check Bluetooth Settings: Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled in the Windows settings. Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices and make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
    2. Update Bluetooth Drivers: Outdated or corrupted drivers can cause Bluetooth issues. Go to Device Manager, find your Bluetooth device under Bluetooth, right-click it, and select Update driver. You can also uninstall the device and restart your computer to allow Windows to reinstall the driver automatically.
    3. Run Bluetooth Troubleshooter: Windows has a built-in troubleshooter that can help identify and fix Bluetooth problems. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters and select Bluetooth to run the troubleshooter.
    4. Check for Windows Updates: Make sure your system is up to date. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.
    5. Bluetooth Radio Reset and Recovery: If you're still experiencing issues, you can try resetting the Bluetooth radio. This feature is available in Windows 10 version 1803 and later. It can help recover from hardware failures that lead to Bluetooth malfunctions. If your device supports it, this can be done automatically without needing a system restart.
    6. Factory Reset (Last Resort): If none of the above steps work, consider backing up your data and performing a factory reset as a last resort. This will restore your device to its original settings, which may resolve the Bluetooth issue.

If you continue to experience problems after trying these steps, you may want to reach out to Asus support for further assistance.

Have you tried another Bluetooth headset or Bluetooth device on your device?

Also try your headset on another computer or mobile phone.

Go to Settings > Windows Update > Update History > See if any updates have been installed recently.

Hello! Maybe the Bluetooth driver is the problem. Have you noticed any recent updates on your laptop?

    Try reinstalling the driver.

    1. Download the Bluetooth driver from the manufacturer's official website.

    • In Bluetooth, download "ROG Raikiri Pro Controller Driver"."

NOTE: This is not a Microsoft website, but it appears to provide accurate and safe information. Be wary of ads that may advertise products that are often classified as PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Products). Research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it.

    1. After downloading, disconnect your PC from the Internet > Restart your PC.
    2. When Windows starts, search for "Device Manager" in the search bar > Click on the icon > Expand the "Bluetooth" tab.
    3. Right-click on the first Bluetooth device > Select "Uninstall device" > Check "Try to remove the driver for this device" > Confirm > Repeat this step for all Bluetooth devices in the "Bluetooth" tab.
    4. Restart your computer.
    5. Install the downloaded Bluetooth Driver > After installing the driver completely, restart your computer.
    6. Connect to the internet and check if the problem is resolved.
