Computer Spec: O/S Window 11 ver. 25H2 HP Pro Desk 600 G6 micro tower. I install Fortect Windows Essential for Windows. Ran their software and said fix all. Then this error occurred: I did systems restore did not work. Fortect support was not helpful nor was HP support team. The error in the systems log states' HP Firmware Runtime Intrusion Detection has detected an authorized attempt to modify HP runtime firmware or disable HP runtime firmware protection mechanisms. System may be unstable until restarted. [fe 00 48 11 20 19 11 25 28 1e 06 69 ff ff ff ff]. The pc boot to a Window which so the error [520] I hit the enter and the system boots to Window and the pc seems to work normally! The error 30 & error 520 are the same except the error 30 goes not more detail. My next step will be a complete Windows 11 install, if you do not have answers! Thank You

Hello FRANK,

The error message you are seeing from HP Firmware Runtime Intrusion Detection indicates that the system has detected an attempt to modify or disable firmware protection mechanisms. While the PC continues to boot normally after pressing Enter, the repeated error codes (30 and 520) suggest that the firmware protection is being triggered consistently.

Since a system restore did not resolve the issue, I recommend checking for the latest BIOS/firmware updates from HP for your ProDesk 600 G6, as these updates often address runtime detection alerts. It is also advisable to uninstall or disable any third-party repair or optimization tools temporarily, as they may interfere with firmware-level protections. If the error persists, performing a clean installation of Windows 11 could help rule out software conflicts, but the underlying firmware alert should still be investigated.

For a definitive resolution, I suggest contacting HP enterprise support with the specific error codes and log details, as they can confirm whether this is a false positive or a genuine firmware protection event.
