Printing page border (colour) around a photo in Word

Using Word I can place a photo on a page with a colour page border. However, the print prewiew does not show the border and it does not print.

I have used this feature in the past and it worked!

Something has changed - please help.

Thank you

    Hello,

Word hides page borders when these settings are off. Go to File, Options, Display, then turn on Print drawings created in Word and Print background colors and images. Then open Design, Page Borders, Options, and set Measure from to Text so the border fits inside your printer’s printable area.

By the way, did you check if Word is set to print drawings and background colors?

The page border (in colour) now shows on the Word print preview.

    Thank you
