My bing places listings have disappeared from my account

When I log into bing places...all of my listings have disappeared. I have tried the help chat for 4 days...and after waiting hours...my current position becomes number 1, but I have never connected with an agent.

So I have two issues...one, I can't access my listings. Two, the virtual chat agent doesn't work.

Are there any other ways to get support?

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing what’s happening. You’re definitely not the only one dealing with this, Bing Places is having a known issue right now , here is an example of somewhat the same scenario as yours, you may check this thread: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5579061/missing-listings-in-bing-places-after-october-upda

The reason your listings disappeared is because Microsoft recently rolled out a major update to the Bing Places dashboard. A lot of users, especially those managing multiple listings or agency accounts, have reported that their dashboards look empty or profiles are missing. This seems to be a platform bug, not something you did wrong.

Here’s what you can do: start by noting down all the missing listings, including business names, addresses, and IDs if you have them. Then email partneronbp@microsoft.com if you manage multiple listings or use API access. Include your account email, screenshots of the empty dashboard, any business IDs, and a short description of the issue.

You can also submit a ticket through the Bing Places contact form. Microsoft usually follows up by email. If you’re still stuck, try emailing placesfeedback@microsoft.com for login or listing issues.

It’s worth checking Bing Maps too, sometimes the listings are still live even if they don’t show in your dashboard. If they are, mention that in your email.

One last tip: don’t delete or recreate listings unless Microsoft tells you to, because that can create duplicates.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

    Kind regards

    Edward

    Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft community and sharing what’s happening. "To help me figure this out, can you please confirm, whether these charges appear under a specific merchant name or subscription in your bank statement, and if so, what name is shown? This helps:

Identify the source of the charges.

Determine if it’s a recurring subscription or a fraudulent transaction.

Speed up resolution with the right provider.

For now, Here's my recommendation: Verify the Source of the Charges

Check your bank statement or payment history to confirm the merchant name and any reference details. This will help identify which service or company processed the payment.

    Contact the Service Provider

If the charges are from Microsoft or another identifiable company, go to their official support page and request a refund. For Microsoft, you can:

Sign in to Microsoft account order history.

Locate the transactions and select Request a refund or Report a problem.

Notify Your Bank or Card Issuer

If you did not authorize these payments, report them as fraudulent. Your bank can block further charges and initiate a dispute.

    Secure Your Account

Change passwords for any accounts linked to the payment method and enable two-factor authentication to prevent future unauthorized transactions.

I hope this helps clear things up. If you need more clarification, feel free to post back

    Regards,

    Edward

    Hi,

Thanks for keeping me updated. I know this is really frustrating—and you’re definitely not the only one dealing with it right now.

If you’re getting the “already claimed by a colleague” message, try claiming the business through Bing Maps first. If that doesn’t work, include a note in your support ticket asking them to release or move the ownership to your account once you’ve verified it. Microsoft support can usually handle this, even though transfers aren’t something you can do yourself.

If any listings still show up in your dashboard but look empty or incorrect, make a small edit—like adjusting punctuation and then publish. This often forces the system to re-index and can fix issues where listings are stuck or merged incorrectly.

The next step is to open a ticket using the official Bing Places Support Contact Form at https://www.bing.com/forbusiness/ Be sure to mention that all your listings disappeared after the October 3, 2025 dashboard update.

Hope this helps! Let me know how things go.

    Kind regards,

    Edward

@Edward Schlobohm01 well, emailing partneronbp@microsoft.com didn't work. I received a reply and then it vanished...no where to be found in my email.

I tried to claim the business, I got a message that the business was already claimed by a colleague, so after logging into his account, we saw it was blank, no businesses at all and an email to request the transfer was no where to be found in that email account, not in inbox, junk or being held in spam quarantine.

I can't believe it's so hard to get support from Microsoft on the business places.
