    Hi Robert,

By default Protected Print mode is off and does not apply to older printers. Also, scanners work independently of Printers.

I dont see a full suite for Windows 11 on the HP page. Could you please try the Windows 10 suite and let me know?

Download and open the utility when prompted.

You can use the Windows Scan app from Microsoft Store to test the scanner.

    Please keep me updated.

To disable Windows protected print mode in Windows 11, follow these steps:

    1. Select Start.
    2. Navigate to Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & scanners.
    3. Scroll down to Printer Preferences and under Windows protected print mode, select Turn Off.

Disabling protected print mode may resolve issues with the scanner function of your printer, as non-compatible devices may not be recognized when this mode is enabled.
