    Hi Krishna,

If your Lenovo had Windows activated before, you do not need a product key. Microsoft will not issue a new key for an OEM device because activation is done through a digital license tied to your hardware or to your Microsoft account.

Do this to reactivate without a key. Connect the PC to the internet and sign in with the same Microsoft account you used before the reinstall. Open Settings > System > Activation.

If it shows Not activated, select Troubleshoot. Choose I changed hardware on this device recently. Sign in if asked, pick your PC from the list, check This is the device I am using right now, then select Activate.

If it still does not activate, tell me exactly what you see in Settings > System > Activation, the Windows edition shown there like Home or Pro, and any error code. I will guide you to the next step.

If you have a Lenovo computer and need to activate Windows but do not have a product key, there are a few steps you can take:

    1. Check for a Product Key: Many Lenovo computers come with Windows pre-installed, and the product key is often embedded in the firmware. You can retrieve it using a command in PowerShell. Open PowerShell as an administrator and run the following command:
         $(Get-WmiObject SoftwareLicensingService).OA3xOriginalProductKey

This command may display your original product key if it is available.
    2. Contact Lenovo Support: If you cannot retrieve the product key using the above method, consider reaching out to Lenovo support. They may be able to assist you in obtaining your product key.
    3. Microsoft Support: If you still cannot find the product key, you can contact Microsoft support for assistance. They may provide guidance on how to activate your Windows installation without a product key.
    4. Purchase a New Key: As a last resort, you can purchase a new product key from Microsoft or an authorized retailer to activate your Windows installation.

Remember that using unauthorized methods to activate Windows is against Microsoft's terms of service.
