When I power up my computer the keyboard is locked up. Can't enter pin, must restart computer every time. Get this Message prior to hitting restart, "If you restart now, you and other people using this PC could lose unsaved work." My old computer started having this problem, and the new one I just got is doing the same thing.
I have trouble shotted, watch videos, and the problem still is THERE!

Hi,
Go to Start Menu > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options > select "Choose what the power buttons do" > select "Change settings that are currently unavailable" > uncheck the "Turn on fast startup" option and save changes.
Give feedback if the information was useful or not.
Thanks
Thank you IvanB. You did what Dell and Microsoft could not do!!

It seems you are experiencing an issue where your keyboard is unresponsive during startup, preventing you from entering your PIN. This can sometimes be caused by the Disable new DMA devices when this computer is locked policy, which may block certain devices until a user logs on. If this policy is enabled, it can lead to situations where devices, including keyboards, are not recognized until after logging in.
To troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following steps:
If these steps do not resolve the issue, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance.
