Install printer driver Canon MF4820d in Windows11 and fail to get print output
Hi, I can Install printer driver Canon MF4820d in Windows11.
The scanning function of printer works but there was no hardcopy print output despite message saying sent to print job.
Extensive troubleshooting(on printer, connection and alternative laptops) were done with Canon support and the last resort was narrowed down to possibly incompatibility with Windows11.
May I know if indeed, Windows11 may pose an issue? How can I "downgrade" back to Windows10 to try because Windows10 was able to get print output. Thank you.

Have you already tested the printer using the Microsoft IPP Class Driver in Printer Properties?
Windows11 often blocks older drivers from sending physical output even when the print queue shows it as complete. The Canon MF4820d uses a UFRII LT driver that works in Windows10 but needs a specific Windows11 version from Canon. Please download the latest driver from the Canon support website and install it using the “USB001 Virtual printer port for USB” option.
If the issue continues, switch the driver to “Microsoft IPP Class Driver” in Printer Properties and retry a test page. Windows11 downgrade is only possible within 10 days of upgrade under Settings, System, Recovery, Go back. After 10 days you need a clean Windows10 installation and full backup of your files.
