Hi,

I want to change the order of Windows 11 OSes installed on different partitions of the same hard disk.

Check the image below.

Can I change this order? Can I put "On Volume 6" as the second in the list?

Thanks

In Windows 11 there is no native method to change that boot order, the only option available is to set which operating system is the default, there are 3rd party tools available like EasyBCD that may allow you to change to order of the operating systems on the Boot menu.

Try the following: Run command prompt as an administrator and enter

    bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy standard

Uninstall EasyBCD from your PC and check if that brings back the blue boot screen when you start Windows.

Hi, I had a terrible time using EasyBCD. After using it, everything changed. Now the selection is changed. Check the image below.
