If you're having trouble verifying your student email for the Azure for Students subscription, here are some steps you can take:

  1. Check Your Email Domain: Ensure that you are using an official academic email domain (e.g., @university.edu). If your email domain is not recognized, it may not be eligible for verification.
  2. Contact Support: If your email domain is valid but still not being verified, you may need to reach out to Microsoft support for assistance. You can log in to the MSLE portal and create a support ticket for help.
  3. Provide Documentation: Be prepared to provide documentation that verifies your academic status, such as accreditation certificates or letters from your institution.
  4. Wait for Verification: The verification process can take up to seven business days, so be patient while waiting for a response from support.
  5. Try Again: If you receive an Action Required status, follow the instructions provided in the portal to resolve the issue.

Following these steps should help you resolve the verification issue and activate your subscription.

First, make sure your school email is active and can receive messages from outside your institution. Sometimes schools block external mail, and that can cause the verification to fail. When you’re ready, you can try the student sign-up page again here: https://www.microsoft.com/education/products/office. If it still won’t verify, the issue may be with your school’s domain not being recognized yet.
