i have always been able to open a .png image with the default photos on my laptop, when i tried to open today it comes up with "Seclore application" and the file will not open. I am guessing this is from something weird with a windows update as I have never had this issue before. I have a lot of images in .png and need to be able to open. i cannot even change the default app on the image to Photos because it is not an option. Photos is installed and other file types open with Photos.

See if repairing the Photos apps helps. To repair your Photos app, go to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps. Find the Photos app. Select the More icon next to the app. Click Advanced Options, and click Repair.

    Hi, This is Ramesh.

Please right-click on a .PNG file and click Properties.

Click the "Change" button. This shows a dialog with the list of apps installed on the system.

Does it list the Photos app?

If the "Change" button is missing for PNG file type, let me know.
