This situation could be a software issue, such as an app or update.
I recommend you do the following: type the command diskcleanup in the search bar and click OK. Select the C drive > Select the "Clean up system files" option > tick all options except the "Downloads" folder and click "OK".
Regarding uninstalling applications, you can use the free Revo program to uninstall and completely clean the files and registry of programs you don't use.
Remember, as a precaution, the Revo program creates a restore point before deleting the program, since it cleans the program's files and registry in Windows.
Then, download the Treesize app from the link below and run it as an administrator. Select the C drive option and wait for it to finish loading. It will show you where spaces (application names) exist, enter the folder or file name here.

You can also access the temp folder in your user's search bar, select all, and delete the %temp% folder to delete temporary system files.
