I want to cancel my subscription, how do I complete this?

I do not find this helpful in the least. I have been attempting to cancel my subscription to MS 365 via phone and now through my account settings. I was informed via phone that "no account associated with the given number exists"...how ironic that A) I have an MS 365 account in which to log into and B) my number is exactly as I provided over the phone). Once logged into my account I attempted to cancel subscription by pressing...wait for it, THE CANCEL SUBSCRITION tab but was informed that is not a valid option on-line! Again, how ironic that I was allowed to enroll and pay for the account ON-LINE... but unable to cancel on-line nor via phone...maybe try smoke signals or pigeon carrier??

So, if you are a customer struggling with same MS intentional "cancel subscription road blocks", my solution was removing my payment method which prompted a cancellation notification.

Try to do better MS!
