Having the same issue. Tried everything. Was on the phone with Xfinity for 2 hours trying to trouble shoot everything to get my NAT type to show anything other than unavailable. Everything was working fine up until 2 weeks ago when this started to happen. Followed all troubleshooting steps for Tespo or whatever it is as well as UPD 3544. According to reddit and a problem across the entire country with all internet providers. This is a MICROSOFT issue 1000% and they need to address this now.

    Hi Trippen,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum. I'm happy to help.

This problem typically does not originate from Microsoft. Instead, it's caused by factors outside Microsoft's control.

    • Your Router
      • UPnP is disabled.
      • Router firewall or filter rules.
      • Multiple NAT: your connections go through multiple routers before reaching WAN.
    • Your ISP
      • Blocked in ISP-level firewall.
      • You're in CGNAT (Carrier-Grade NAT) zone.

Carrier-Grade NAT (CGNAT) is a technique used by ISPs to conserve IPv4 addresses. Instead of assigning each customer a unique public IP, the ISP places multiple customers behind a single shared public IP. Your home router then uses private IP addresses behind this shared IP, creating two layers of NAT. CGNAT is particularly problematic because even if you configure your router correctly, the ISP-level NAT prevents Xbox from establishing the necessary peer-to-peer connections. In short, resolving this requires changes on your ISP—not Microsoft intervention.

I hope that above information is helpful to you.
