I just purchased a new laptop with Windows 11 Pro. Can I use 'System Image" from my old Windows 10 laptop to set up for the new machine? I was told that may change the new laptop to Windows 10. If that is the case, what is the best way to transfer old to new without having to reinstall all the programs and apps. Please advise. Thanks.

Using a system image from your old Windows 10 laptop to set up your new Windows 11 Pro laptop is not recommended. Restoring a system image typically reverts the new laptop to the operating system version from which the image was created, which means it could downgrade your new laptop to Windows 10.
