If you do not actually have McAfee installed, the McAfee popups are appearing at the bottom right of your screen, there is a website you previously visited producing the McAfee popup.

Open Edge or your preferred browser.

Click the 3 dots at the top and open Edge Settings.

In Edge Settings, type notifications in the search box.

On the right, scroll down and find 'Notifications - Ask First'

Delete all websites form the resulting list of sites allowed to produce notifications on your PC.

To block pop-ups from McAfee, you can follow these general steps:

    1. Disable Pop-ups in McAfee: Open your McAfee software and navigate to the settings. Look for an option related to pop-up notifications or alerts and disable it.
    2. Use Browser Settings: If the pop-ups are appearing in your browser, you can adjust the settings in Microsoft Edge:
      • Open Microsoft Edge and click on the three dots in the upper right corner to access the menu.
      • Go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services.
      • Under the Security section, find the Site Settings and look for Pop-ups and redirects. Set it to Blocked.
    3. Check for Malware: Sometimes, unwanted pop-ups can be caused by malware. Run a full scan using Windows Defender or any other trusted antivirus software to ensure your system is clean.
    4. Uninstall Unwanted Software: If you have any software that you do not recognize or no longer use, consider uninstalling it as it may be causing pop-ups.

By following these steps, you should be able to reduce or eliminate the annoying pop-ups from McAfee.
