I have a AZ-104 cert but didn't renew it this year. Would like to take the A-305. Would not renewing the 140 hurt that? 104 is a pre-req.

    Hi Alan,

If you want to earn Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification then you must have Active Azure Administrator Associate certification (AZ-104) as well as pass AZ-305 exam. Since your Azure Administrator Associate certification has expired, if you pass AZ-305 you will not earn certification.

If you want to earn the certification you will need to pass AZ-104 again in addition to passing AZ-305. You can pass AZ-305 first if you want, but until you pass AZ-104 again the certificate will not show up.

    Thanks.
