If you are encountering a repeating popup indicating that a Trojan has been found and suggesting you turn on your firewall, it is important to take immediate action to remove the Trojan and protect your system. Here are steps you can follow:

    1. Use Microsoft Defender Antivirus: Run a full scan using Microsoft Defender Antivirus, which is built into Windows 10. This can help detect and remove the Trojan from your system.
    2. Use Microsoft Safety Scanner: If the issue persists, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner. This tool can help remove malware that may not be detected by your regular antivirus software.
    3. Enable Firewall: Make sure your Windows Firewall is enabled. You can do this by going to Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Defender Firewall and ensuring that it is turned on.
    4. Update Your Software: Ensure that your Windows operating system and all installed software are up to date to protect against vulnerabilities that could be exploited by malware.
    5. Avoid Suspicious Downloads: Be cautious about downloading files or applications from untrusted sources, as Trojans often disguise themselves as legitimate software.
    6. Consider a Clean Installation: If the Trojan cannot be removed or if your system continues to behave suspiciously, consider performing a clean installation of Windows to ensure all traces of the malware are removed.

By following these steps, you should be able to remove the Trojan and stop the popups from appearing.

Download the Microsoft Safety Scanner and run a full scan with that, ignore any files listed when the scan is running, at the end of the scan, is it indicated malware was found and removed from your PC?
