Pop up to add a device I don't have

I keep getting a pop up to add a device Redmi Watch 5 Active F783 and I can't stop it. Clicking on the X in the top right corner closes it for only a few seconds, then it pops up again.

I've searched in settings and I can't find anything to stop this

    Hi,

Thank you for sharing your question. Yeah, that constant pop-up for a device you don't even HAVE is super annoying! It usually happens when Windows keeps seeing a Bluetooth device nearby and bugs you to pair with it, or if a pairing request gets stuck.

Basically, your computer keeps searching for Bluetooth stuff and picks up the device's signal. To stop it, try turning off Nearby Sharing and Bluetooth device alerts in Windows settings. Just go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Devices, and turn off Show notifications to connect using Swift Pair. If that thing STILL pops up, try restarting the Bluetooth service. Type services.msc in the search bar, find Bluetooth Support Service, and restart it. Deleting old paired devices and updating your Bluetooth drivers might do the trick, too

    I hope this helps.

    Best Regards,

    Noel

    Thanks Noel,

I think I've sorted it by turning off notifications in Apps. I had already turned off the Swift Pair notifications and that didn't work.

Any idea why it would be a notification for that particular smart watch? I don't own a smart watch and never have. Nor do I own anything by that company. The only bluetooth device close to my computer is the mouse
