When trying to retract a solution from my central administration I received the error below. This error appears for both the computer admin account as well as my farm admin accounts. How can I get past this issue.

    Hi Tevon,

As your description, the problem should be caused by this:

SharePoint does not allow local administrator to make changes on jobs and features through other applications like Internet Explorer unless the application is run through the machine admin account.

    Solution:

Close the already running instances of Internet Explorer and run the application as Administrator. This will run the IE under machine Administrator account and problem will be solved.

For more details, you can check this article to see if your situation matches it.

Please let us know if it works after you try this solution.
