Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Hi Jeffrey,
Thanks for reaching out. I understand how important it is to have your shared calendar accessible on your iPhone it really helps keep everything organized on the go. I'm here to help!
First, if you’re on Microsoft 365 or Exchange Online, open the Outlook app, go to Calendar, tap the calendar icon, then Add Shared Calendars. Search for the person or group, tap the plus sign, and it will appear.
Second, if the calendar doesn’t show or you’re on on-premises Exchange, Outlook mobile doesn’t fully support shared calendars. A workaround is to publish the calendar in Outlook Web, copy the ICS link, and add it on your iPhone under Settings > Other > Add Subscribed Calendar. This gives you read-only access in the Apple Calendar app.
Third, some community members suggest syncing through tools like GSyncit or using automation with iOS Shortcuts, but these are more advanced and mainly for read-only or indirect sync.
Last, if none of these work, the most reliable fallback is using Outlook Web Access in your browser. It’s not as seamless as the app, but it ensures you can view and manage shared calendars.
