Hello, and I apologize for the late reply.
Because Windows 8 went out of service in 2016, Microsoft doesn't have official downloads for Windows 8 anymore. You'll have to look on websites like the Internet Archive to download the ISO.
In addition, because Windows 8 went out of support, you are now more vulnerable to malware due to the lack of updates. If you understand these risks and want to continue, follow along below.
First, download 7-Zip from https://7-zip.org. Download and install the edition that matches your architecture (x86 for 32-bit, x64 for 64-bit).
Then, search for a Windows 8 ISO. A good 32-bit ISO is https://archive.org/details/windows-8-msdn-iso-files-en-de-ru-tr-x86-x64 and a good 64-bit ISO is https://archive.org/details/windows-8-x-64 (you can download the 64-bit edition from both the links), and download the ISO file.
Once it finishes downloading (may take a while depending on your internet connection), right-click the ISO in your downloads folder and hover over 7-Zip in the menu that comes up, and select "Extract to [insert folder name here]", which will create a new directory for you while extracting the files.
Once it finishes extracting, navigate to the newly created folder and then double click setup.exe. If you are prompted to allow the app to make changes to your device, click "Yes".
Follow the instructions on-screen to upgrade to Windows 8.
Please note that you will need to purchase a Windows 8 product key (if you can find one at all) as you cannot activate Windows 8 with your Windows 7 product key.
Let me know how this goes, and happy holidays!!
