I've done so much research about this! I came back from china like a long tima ago like 4 to 5 months ago and it still says i am in china. even though i am in australia right now. i asked copilot and they said to try to change it into New Zealand and then back to australia but it still doesn't work. another option i saw was to earn points again in australia so i did i earnt a lot. i remember i send an email i think or a message to the Microsoft group but i still didn't get a reply. I really want to change my location to australia which is where i am right now, but it says i am in china. I check settings and account info, it says i am in australia. ut wen i go to the dashboard to earn/redeem points is says i am in china the reason why i want it to changeScreenshot 2025-12-24 131025

Hi! That banner usually appears when Microsoft Rewards detects activity from a different country/region than the one your Rewards market is currently set to because your network/IP looks like you’re “traveling”. If you’re using a VPN/proxy (or any tool that masks location), it can trigger this and may put the Rewards account at risk, because Microsoft’s Services Agreement specifically prohibits concealing or misrepresenting your location to access services.

If you’re not using a VPN and you’re not actually in a different country/region, the best next step is to submit a report to Microsoft Rewards Support so the Rewards team can review the account from their side (this is the primary support channel for Rewards issues).
