My husband and I both have a Microsoft account on our computers. Can we combine them so we don't have two subscriptions?

Each person with a Microsoft 365 subscription can install Microsoft 365 on up to five PCs or Macs, five tablets, and five phones. Therefore, if both you and your husband have separate Microsoft accounts and subscriptions, you can each install Microsoft 365 on your respective devices up to those limits.

As for combining accounts to avoid having two subscriptions, Microsoft accounts are generally intended to be individual. You may want to consider sharing a single subscription if it allows for multiple users, or you could look into family plans that Microsoft offers, which might allow you to share a subscription without needing to combine accounts directly.

It depends on the type of Microsoft 365 subscription(s) you have.

A Microsoft 365 Personal subscription can only be used by one person and can be installed on up to 5 devices at the same time, but only when logged into with the same Microsoft account used for the subscription.

If you have a Microsoft 365 Family subscription, then up to 5 people can use that licence and install it on their own PC's using their own Microsoft account, each person would then have their own OneDrive storage separate to each other, the licence is shared using the method provided on this link to share the Family subscription.
