My google chrome isn't working, whenever I click inside the app, select my profile, it instantly closes the app on its own. Anyone knows why? And how do I fix it?

Press the Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog.

Paste this into the Run dialog and click OK

    chrome --disable-extensions

That process should start Chrome in Safe Mode, with no extensions disabled, does Chrome work correctly?

If so, uninstall any 3rd party extensions and restart Chrome to test if it is working correctly.2

If not, completely uninstall Chrome, then restart (not shut down) your PC and download and install the latest version of Chrome.

If Google Chrome is closing on its own when you try to select your profile, it may be due to several reasons, including issues with the browser profile, conflicts with other applications, or corrupted files. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially fix the issue:

    1. Update Chrome: Ensure that you are using the latest version of Chrome. Sometimes, updating the browser can resolve unexpected issues.
      • To check for updates, open Chrome, click on the three dots in the upper right corner, go to Help, and then select About Google Chrome. Chrome will check for updates and install them if available.
    2. Clear Cache and Cookies: Corrupted cache and cookies can cause problems. Try clearing them by going to Chrome's Settings, then Privacy and security, and selecting Clear browsing data.
    3. Disable Extensions: Some extensions may interfere with Chrome's functionality. Try disabling all extensions to see if that resolves the issue. You can do this by going to More tools > Extensions and toggling them off.
    4. Create a New Profile: If your current profile is corrupted, creating a new one may help. You can do this by going to Settings > Manage other people > Add person.
    5. Reinstall Chrome: If none of the above solutions work, consider uninstalling and then reinstalling Chrome. This can fix any corrupted files that may be causing the issue.

If the problem persists after trying these steps, it may be beneficial to check for any system updates or conflicts with other software on your computer.
