I set up a new laptop with my Microsoft account in error. How do I safely delete this without affecting my account on other devices. Thanks

Bought spouse a laptop but set up using my Microsoft account in error. Can I just wipe his laptop. I’m unsure if this will affect my other devices. I’m an idiot. Thankyou

    Hi,

If you wipe your spouse’s laptop that is signed in with the same Microsoft account as yours but is set up on a different device, your own computer’s files and apps will not be affected. Only the data on the laptop you are trying to wipe will be removed.
