Thanks, Eliza. Please try that and let me know. It installs separately as an app.
WhatsApp Desktop not opening after updating
Hello, as shown in the title, after the newest WhatsApp update, I'm now unable to open my WhatsApp Desktop no matter how many times I restart my laptop, reinstall my WhatsApp desktop, and even when as far as repair/reset my WhatsApp in the setting as well as ending all WhatsApp processes in Task Manager.
I don't know is this a WhatsApp problem, or Window problem, but can anyone help clarify it to me?
Thank you.

2026-01-02T12:12:45.2333333+00:00 Thank you, the reason you cannot open it is that your Windows is way too old.
Please try installing the latest feature update manually and let us know.
The fastest way to get the upgrade is through the Media creation tool or ISO file. Please download the Media Creation Tool and select ""Upgrade this PC now"".

All steps, including upgrading using the ISO file and Media creation tool, are covered here:
Install Windows 10 version 22H2 manually

If the update fails, let us know the error code, and run the Setupdiag tool. Post the outcome of the same. We may need some logs depending on what the result is.
