My Windows 11 Pro does not list Windows Fax and Scan as one of the selectable features under Print and Document Services. How can I install Windows Fax and Scan.

It turns out Fax and Scan is not available under Print and Document Services if not already installed.

    Ramesh posted this:

Windows Fax and Scan is a Feature-on-demand component that can be installed via Settings.

    1. Open Settings → System → Optional features.
    2. Click “View features”
    3. Type “fax” (without quotes).
    4. Select Windows Fax and Scan from the list and click Next. 5. Click Install.

PCIe modems should work as long as drivers are available. In Windows Settings look for Optional Features. Select View Features and in the search pick "fax" which will find Scan and Fax quickly. Once installed the program is found in the Windows control panel.

Not sure when MIcrosoft is going to retire the control panel.
