To restore your desktop to the way it was before an update, you can use the System Restore feature in Windows. Here are the steps to do this:
- Access WinRE: Start your computer and select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Recovery. Under Advanced options, select Restart now.
- Select Troubleshoot: Once in the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE), select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > System Restore.
- Follow the Wizard: Enter your recovery key if prompted, and then follow the instructions in the System Restore wizard to choose a restore point prior to the update.
This will revert your system settings to the state they were in at that restore point, effectively restoring your desktop layout and settings as they were before the update.
