I have not received my refund

I requested a refund of $50 as my Microsoft 365 included AI without my approval. I received an email from Microsoft on 26 November to say my refund had been approved, but I have not received my refund yet

    My $50 has finally been refunded to me - only took 2 months! good luck everyone and check your bank statement.

    Today I was contacted by Microsoft 02 9055 9190 regarding my refund. They are still working on it but have given me a months free subscription. I used to renew in August,but now I will renew in September. Now to wait for refund.

    I’ve had the same issue!! Received an email on 26 November with the same information, have not received my $50 and my bank confirmed the refund does not exist on their end. I’ve contacted Microsoft 10 times and receive a different answer everytime, some saying it’s been processed and they can’t do anything else, and others saying it’s not yet processed. Cant get a straight answer, it’s so dishonest they are withholding money they claimed to refund!

    I too received an email at the end of November saying the refund has been approved.

    I rang twice and used their chatbot and here I am now in 2026 without a proper answer or the refund.

    I was given multiple answers, the lates one being I'd get an email with a $50 gift card...I'm furious and will be going to the ACCC about this.

    Hi,

    Have you already tried contacting your bank to make sure the refund is not pending on their end?

    To clarify, was this subscription purchased from the Apple Store, since you selected MacOS as your category?
