I have an Excel file with stocks from the US Exchanges. I am receiving an error that the server is down. It's been down 4 days and this is just REALLY poor service. I brought this to the company's attention Friday and the server is still down.
When will it be working again? Does the public need to tell Microsoft when their server is not working?

Since I am paying for the MS Excel, will MS refund or compensate for this issue? I am not able to work. 4 days is too much, such issue should be fixes asap

It is unlikely that they would refund or comsepensate for service interruptions related to Microsoft 365 apps like Excel, especially if the issue is caused by a software bug or update delay.
In the Microsoft terms of sale, it states that all sales are final unless otherwise provided by law or by a particular offer.
In the Microsoft service agreement, they say they do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

how will i know when the problem is fixed?
Just open your workbook and go to Data > Refresh All. If the stock data loads without an error, the service is back online.
You're not the first person who noticed this. It is not the fault of your computer and you can't really do anything to help with it.
We are currently waiting for Microsoft to fix it. They have not given any ETA yet.
