To print a document on A5 paper using Microsoft Word, you need to set the document size to A5. Here’s how you can do that:

    1. Open your Word document.
    2. Go to the Layout tab on the ribbon.
    3. Click on Size in the Page Setup group.
    4. Select A5 from the dropdown list. If A5 is not listed, you can select More Paper Sizes and manually set the width to 14.8 cm and the height to 21 cm.
    5. Once you have set the size, make sure your printer is loaded with A5 paper.
    6. Finally, go to File > Print to print your document.

By following these steps, your document will be formatted to print correctly on A5 paper.

You have a couple of answers telling you how to set a different pages size, but that will change the page formatting because your text size, line spacing and margins will not change when you move to the smaller page size.

If you want to scale down your existing page layout, that easiest to do in your printer driver. Choose File>Print, then click on Printer Properties below the printer name.

Every printer will display a different set of options, but you are looking for one that says something like Scale to fit. If there is no such option, then one that lets you set a percentage of actual size will also work. 71% is the amount to use for A4 to A5.

If your drive does shows such options, you can save as a PDF, then open that in Acrobat Reader. The Reader File>Print function always lets you scale documents up and down in size.

    Greetings!

This is Tin, I'll do my best to help. Looks like you wanna print A5 on your MS Word.

Please Click File then hit Print. Please ensure that your printer has been selected, under Paper Size or Printer Properties, choose A5, if you don't see A5, please send the make and model of your printer as you might be needing to install the updated or full driver.

Note: MS Word may ask you to adjust the margins after you changed the paper size.

Then after that, please try to print.

    Thank you,

    Tin
