at this stage when I press and hold, it takes a while to respond and after 10-15 minutes of pressing and holding , it prompts me to try again

Hi, for me its not working, i've tried incognito and another browser, but no luck, im still geting try again, i've tried on mobile phone (i've even switched network) for my custom domain there im getting we couldn't create your account due to some unusal activity, also im not able to get their support since their ASP NET APP fails to launch as is returning 503... this is frustrating...

Amazing!
I had the same problem using the MS Edge browser and the solutions wouldn't work. So, I tried Chrome and yippee it worked. I'm amazed that Microsofts own browser won't work when the main competition's browser does!
Go figure...
Didn't work on Chrome for me, either. :-(

May I please know if you're experiencing this issue when creating a New Microsoft account with your gmail.com address?
If yes, you can try clearing your browsing history, cache, and cookies, or use an incognito tab and see if you can create an account.
If that didn't work, open an incognito tab and go to https://outlook.com/ or https://www.xbox.com/en-US/live and create a new free Microsoft account. See if this helps.
