Cannot paste images (screenshots) into Copilot 365 Desktop?

Sometimes I am working with CoPilot and need to show them an image from a screenshot. I use the native Windows method of taking screenshots and try to paste into CoPilot, and this file type is not supported.

Is this something that is going to be addressed? Ridiculous that the native screenshot app cannot paste into a native Windows app, is it not?

Currently, the Copilot for Microsoft 365 apps does not support pasting images directly from screenshots taken using the native Windows screenshot method. Instead, you need to attach files to your chat session using the Attach button in the chat window. You can select Browse... to upload a file or use the Add screenshot option to take a screenshot specifically for attachment.

If you're experiencing issues with this feature, it may be beneficial to check if your organization's policies allow for the use of attachments, as this can impact functionality.

As for whether this limitation will be addressed in the future, there hasn't been any specific information provided regarding upcoming changes to support pasting screenshots directly into Copilot.
