If I do a search on a keyword, in my case it was "Canon" as I was trying to see the last time I had ordered ink and it could have come from a number of email addresses. I get an entire list of emails with the word "canon" in the title or body as I would expect, but in the search results I cannot seem find a way to sort by sender...In any other folder or the inbox I have the ability to do that....

Is there a way to sort a search. I know I can do it in legacy :) Advice would be appreciated

Currently, Outlook for Mac does not support sorting search results by sender directly within the search results interface. While you can perform searches using keywords and view the results, the ability to sort those results by sender is not available in the same way it is for other folders or the inbox. This limitation can be frustrating, especially if you're used to more flexible sorting options in other contexts.

As a workaround, you may consider using the Advanced Search feature, which allows for more specific search criteria, although it still may not provide sorting by sender in the results. Alternatively, you could manually check the sender information in the search results as needed.

For users who prefer the legacy version of Outlook, you might find that it offers more sorting options, so switching back temporarily could be a solution if that is feasible for you.
