I just got this desktop, and I installed the Nvidia drivers for updates. After that, I had to restart the computer for them to take effect. When the desktop restarted, it immediately displayed a screen stating, "The referenced account is currently locked and may not be logged on to." However, it never gave me the chance to input my password or anything. It automatically locked me out.

It seems that your account has been locked due to multiple unsuccessful sign-in attempts. This can happen if there are several failed attempts to log in with incorrect credentials, leading to an account lockout. In a managed domain, the default behavior is to lock the account after 5 bad password attempts within a short period, typically for 30 minutes.

To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:

  1. Wait for the lockout period to expire (usually 30 minutes).
  2. If you have access to another account, try logging in with that account and then unlock your primary account if possible.
  3. If you are still unable to log in after the lockout period, consider resetting your password or contacting your system administrator for assistance.

If the issue persists, you may need to troubleshoot further based on your specific setup or contact support for additional help.
