Hi! Does this problem happen with all images? If the image has a very high or low resolution, this can occur.
Try editing a photo downloaded from the internet and see if the problem persists.
If it's an app bug, try reinstalling it.
Update Microsoft Store
- Update the Microsoft Store and all applications.
- New version of the Microsoft Store
- Search for Microsoft Store in the taskbar and open the store > Click on ''Library'' > ''Get updates'' > Update all applications > Restart your computer.
- Old version of the Microsoft Store
- Search for Microsoft Store in the taskbar and open the store > Click on the User Profile icon > ''Downloads and updates'' > ''Get updates'' > Update all applications > Restart your computer.

Reinstall the Photos app
- Type "'PowerShell'" in the search bar > Right-click on the application > Select '''Run as administrator'' > Select "Yes" in the authentication message that appears
- Now let's type the following commands.
ATTENTION: Type (or copy and paste) the command exactly as I type it, including all characters and spaces > Press ENTER after typing the command.
