Hi ,
i want to allow that every user from an company can download the transcription from a teams meeting.
I know it's default is that only the organizer can adjust this, but i want to create an security group with all users in it and enable this security group to download the transcription.
Is this possible?

I have the same question. We know meeting organizers can give users' permission to download the transcript individually for each recorded meeting, but we don't want to do this for EVERY meeting and are looking for an org-wide policy so that we don't have to. It wasn't like this before.

In this case, it might be easier for you to download the transcript and upload it to your OneDrive or SharePoint as a document file. This way, anyone who needs the transcript can easily access and download it themselves.
2. Grant access for all users
Besides, you can also click to the "Recap" -> "Watch in browser"
Click "Share" -> "Manage Access"
Click on "Grant access"
Choose the group of all users that you have created in Microsoft Admin Center (Please kindly ask your IT admin to do it for you.)
Besides, you can also manually grant access to all users so they can view and download the transcript file themselves.

In my previous response, I suggested two ways to make it easier for everyone to access and download meeting transcripts:
I tested this myself as a regular user (not an admin), and as the meeting owner, I was still able to grant access to other users in my organization manually. Therefore, you can manually grant access to individual users or to a group of users. This group needs to be created in the Microsoft Admin Center by an administrator.
Click Add a group, choose Security group, and add all relevant users.
For your information:
Based on the article I reviewed, users from another tenant (external guests) cannot download the transcript after the meeting.

**Hi Anne-Le,**I’ve created a test security group and shared our daily standup with the group using your method so that it can be edited collaboratively.
I’m part of the group myself, but I still can’t download the transcript. Is that because I’m already listed as an individual user in the meeting?
I also received a notification saying that the group doesn’t have an email address attached, so the users in the group aren’t receiving any emails about access. Should this be set up using a Microsoft 365 group instead of a security group?
And do people who are already part of the meeting need to be manually granted access, or does that happen automatically through the group?

I have tried testing with both Microsoft 365 Groups and Security Groups, and they all worked for granting access to all group members. Even if they are not members of the meeting, they still have access to download
Transcript when click on the link that I have shared from "Watch on Browser" like this image.
You can try creating Teams and Microsoft 365 Groups and adding this grant access to the browser link to download the transcript.
Please make sure that after creating Security Groups or Teams and Microsoft 365 Groups, you have added the users you want into these groups before granting access. (You can recheck this group member via your Microsoft Admin Center again.
