Hi,
Thank you for sharing your question. You’ve already taken many of the right actions checking macro settings, reviewing Trust Center options, and trying to unblock but the issue persists.
It’s frustrating and disruptive to your work when a file that’s actively used by your organization gets stuck behind blocked macros right when you need it.
Microsoft Office blocks macros by default in files from email and OneDrive for security reasons, sometimes even after unblocking the file or enabling macros in settings. To regain functionality, right-click the Excel file in File Explorer, choose Properties, and check "Unblock" on the General tab to remove the Mark-of-the-Web flag. Then in Excel go to File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings and set Macro Settings to either “Disable all macros with notification” or “Enable all macros,” and also add the folder path as a Trusted Location to prevent future blocks. If the file resides in OneDrive, moving it to a local, trusted folder before reopening can help circumvent the cloud-related block.
I hope this helps.
Best Regards,
Noel
