Hi,

I can use normal shortcuts without issue (ex. Ctrl+C), however, I'm no longer able to use the shortcut to insert an emoji and need to know how to update/fix (tried using Win+period or Win+semicolon).

If you're having trouble with the emoji shortcuts (Win + period or Win + semicolon) not being recognized, here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Check for Updates: Ensure that your Windows operating system is up to date. Sometimes, updates can fix bugs related to keyboard shortcuts.
    2. Restart Your Computer: A simple restart can resolve many issues, including problems with keyboard shortcuts.
    3. Check Keyboard Language Settings: Make sure that your keyboard layout is set correctly. Sometimes, switching between different keyboard layouts can affect shortcut functionality.
    4. Use the Emoji Panel: If the shortcuts are still not working, you can try accessing the emoji panel through the touch keyboard. Right-click on the taskbar, select "Show touch keyboard button," and then click the keyboard icon that appears in the taskbar. From there, you can access emojis.
    5. PowerToys Keyboard Manager: If you have PowerToys installed, ensure that the Keyboard Manager is not interfering with the default shortcuts. You can check the settings in PowerToys to see if any remapping is affecting the emoji shortcuts.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may want to consider resetting your keyboard settings or checking for any third-party software that might be affecting keyboard input.
