Hi, I'm Rodrigo and I will help you.
I understand you want to connect the PS5 to a laptop and play using the laptop display.
Unfortunately, this is not possible by connecting the HDMI cable directly to the HDMI port on the laptop.

The HDMI port on the laptop is output only, it will not receive the input signal from the PS5.

The only way to make this setup work it is by connecting the HDMI cable to a capture card connected to the laptop, the capture card has an HDMI input and will show the image on a capture program (e.g.: OBS)

Here is the example of a cheap capture card:

To use HDMI on Windows 11 to play your PS5, follow these steps to troubleshoot the connection issue:

    1. Check HDMI Connections: Ensure that the HDMI cable is securely connected to both your PS5 and the monitor. If you're using an adapter, make sure it's compatible with HDMI 2.0 or higher.
    2. Monitor Input Source: Make sure your monitor is set to the correct input source. You may need to switch the input mode on your monitor to HDMI if it has multiple input options.
    3. Test the HDMI Cable: If possible, try using a different HDMI cable to rule out any cable issues.
    4. Check Display Settings: On your Windows 11 PC, right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings". Ensure that the monitor is detected and configured correctly. You may need to adjust the display settings to extend or duplicate the display.
    5. Restart Devices: Sometimes, simply restarting both the PS5 and the monitor can resolve connectivity issues.
    6. Update Drivers: Make sure your graphics drivers on Windows 11 are up to date. You can check for updates in the Device Manager or through Windows Update.

If you have checked all these steps and still face issues, consider testing the PS5 on another monitor or TV to ensure that the console is functioning correctly.
