I am unable to keep the print spooler running in Windows 11. When i go to print, Windows says there are no printers available. I have tried restarting the print spooler. It stay running up until I try to print or add a printer. I have tried running the printer troubleshooter. I get the attached error.
Clicking the link to get help and support I get a 500.30 error.
The printer works with other windows devices.User's image

Hi, I'm Bernard, a fellow Windows user. I'm happy to help!

This is happening due to a misconfiguration of the print spooler, and for us to fix the problem, kindly follow the steps below:

We need to refresh the print spooler folder:

    1. Press Windows Key + R and type services.msc
    2. Look for Print Spooler and click on Stop Service
    3. Press Windows Key + R and type spool then hit OK
    4. Open spool folder and click Continue on the prompt
    5. Go to drivers > x64 and look for "3" folder
    6. Rename 3 folder to 3.old
    7. Start print spooler service in services.msc

    Restart the PC and check.

Note: If the issue persists, try to remove all printer applications and reinstall the printer driver.

    To remove the printer applications:

    1. Press Windows Key + R and type control printers to open Devices and Printers
    2. Right-click on the Offline printer and choose Remove Device
    3. Press Windows Key + R and type appwiz.cpl then hit OK to open Programs and Features
    4. Look for printer software that is installed and uninstall it
    5. Restart the PC if prompted.
