I have my desktop going to sleep and perhaps hibernating after a period of time, but can't find settings to make it wake up with the mouse or keyboard. The settings were easy in Windows 10, but everything in Windows 11 shows how to save power, but not get it back to action.

    Hi,

Go to Start Menu > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options > select "Choose what the power buttons do" > select "Change settings that are currently unavailable" > uncheck the "Turn on fast startup" option and save changes.

Go to power options. > change advanced power settings. > The sleep menu turn off hybrid sleep and set hybrid after to never >Go to USB setting > USB selective suspend setting, and disable that.

    Apply those settings.

If that doesn't work, you need to check if S3 is enabled in your motherboard's BIOS.

To check, access msinfo32.exe in the search bar, take a screenshot and post it here.

Give feedback if the information was useful or not.

    Thanks

I followed the advice, but when I clicked on Properties, there was just an "OK" button in the window, and no way to make any adjustments. When I clicked on OK the box closed.

The advice said something about clicking on a tab. There weren't any, and the advice disappeared when I started to follow the instructions.
