Looking at the time of the start of all our problems with this error I suggest it is Microsoft's/Yahoo issue.

Mine started at 3.15 with a no internet message, followed by the edge too many requests error - even though I log in once and leave my emails open all day! I've tried clearing the cache, using three different servers and I'm still getting the message! I can access emails on my phone - but I run a very busy office and this really is not acceptable.

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

Microsoft Q&A is public, and we can only provide information. It is beyond our capability to assist directly with account or login-related issues.

The "Too Many Requests” error usually happens if there have been multiple login attempts in a short period of time, and Microsoft temporarily blocks further attempts to protect the account.

Could you let me know when you last tried signing in after the reset?

Sometimes it helps to wait for a full 24 hrs before trying again, especially after multiple failed attempts.

Also, are you trying to sign in from a new device or location? Sometimes that can also trigger extra security checks.

Click "Add comment" to let me know.

    Regards,

    John J.D.
